Linton Park School

Client: Focus Learning Trust
Project: Extension to the main hall and rearrangement of classrooms
Location: Maidstone, Kent
Value: £207k
Project period: 12 weeks
Completed: Autumn 2015
Architect: Paul Reeves

Works were carried out on the Linton Park School project during the Summer break and into the Autumn term. We added an extension to the school hall to provide a fixed stage area with storage.

Externally we matched to the existing buildings with Black Marley Eternit Cedral Weatherboard and Britmet Tileform Slate 2000 tiles which, having previously worked on a new block for the school, we were able to source from previous suppliers

In addition, we stripped out and re-purposed three classrooms to create a glazed SDL area, involving removal of the timber structure and replacement with a steel frame to enable large glass panels to be fitted.
